From Belief to Knowledge
Rita Santillán explores one of the most fascinating responses to the uncertainties and potentialities of our times based on philosophical foundations and scientific knowledge that challenges our currents “mode of thinking”. Yet, sociological, psychological, religious, geopolitical, and environmental changes are unfolding before our eyes at unexpected speed. Transition and transformation have become buzzwords as society faces complex problems that are shrouded in uncertainty. From Belief to Knowledge provides a fresh perspective for understanding this transition, based on the thinking of Dr. Serge Raynaud de la Ferrière and his protégé and interpreter, D. Ferriz, which enables us to understand current shifts with greater objectivity, subtlety, and wisdom.
This pioneering volume provides invaluable new insights into the work of Serge R. de la Ferrière. His thinking, in the academic world, and even among those who claim to be their followers, has been ignored and or “severely” misrepresented. Beyond exegesis, the author focuses on social function as well understanding the values associated with this new Age of Knowledge.
